Typically, around half of all heat lost from a solid-walled house is through its walls. Insulating your walls will keep your home warmer for longer and can help reduce your heating bills.

Solid wall insulation works by adding a thermal layer to the inside of your existing wall. Internal wall insulation will therefore reduce the size of your rooms slightly.  Solid wall insulation may be suitable for homes made from brick, stone or concrete construction.

Internal solid wall insulation is the preferred option when the external appearance of the building needs to be maintained.
